Stowspace offers three hosted actions for saved content: summaries, key points, and tag suggestions. AI is optional, paid, and metered in credits. There is no bring-your-own-key mode.

A paid subscription includes 200 credits each month. A 500-credit pack costs $12.99. Purchased credits are shown separately from the monthly included balance.

When the balance reaches zero, hosted AI pauses. Saving, reading, organizing, search, and the rest of the local app continue to work.

Consent and data sent

AI consent must be enabled before an action runs. When you request an action, Stowspace sends the relevant saved title and content needed for that request to the hosted AI service. It does not send your whole library.

Disabling consent stops new AI requests. Existing local items remain available, and you can enable consent again later in desktop settings.

Connection required

Hosted AI needs an internet connection. When you are offline, your local library remains usable while AI waits for a connection.

Follow the guide

Before you start

  • An active Connected plan with available hosted AI credits.
  • A saved item containing the text you intentionally want the provider to process.
  • A review of the AI and upload policy before sending sensitive material.

Steps

  1. Open one saved item and choose summary, key points, or tag suggestions.
  2. Review the displayed credit cost and initiate the request only when the selected content is appropriate to send.
  3. Treat the returned text as a suggestion: verify it against the original item before saving or relying on it.
  4. Edit or discard inaccurate output and avoid sending secrets, regulated records, or material you do not have permission to process.

AI actions start from one saved item at a time and remain optional.

Expected outcome

Stowspace processes only the initiated item and returns a draft summary, key-point list, or tag suggestions while recording the disclosed credit use.

Common errors

The AI action is unavailable
Confirm Connected is active, the device is online, and the account has enough credits for the displayed action.
The output misses important context
Compare it with the saved source and rewrite or discard it. Hosted AI output can be incomplete or incorrect.
