This is the current in-development version of Stowspace. It is not a production release.
Added
- Built the free Windows desktop library for articles, snippets, notes, and videos. It works locally without an account.
- Added full-text search across titles, article bodies, notes, snippets, and video transcripts.
- Added capture from the Chrome and Edge extension, plus Android share-sheet capture.
- Added optional paid sync, cloud archive, and hosted AI summaries, key points, and tag suggestions.
Changed
- Kept accounts optional for the local Windows experience. An account is only needed for paid connected features.
- Metered hosted AI with credits so AI actions are explicit and the local library keeps working when credits run out.
Fixed
- Improved sync convergence and recovery while the shared desktop, Android, extension, and server contract is being finalized.
- Hardened the Windows background service handoff used by browser saves.
